About This Course

Hello, and welcome to the Hand Hygiene module of MSF’s COVID-19 training module. Please watch the video for a word of introduction from our epidemiologist, Krystelle Mousally.

In this the Hand Hygiene course, you will achieve the following terminal objectives:

• Describe the importance of hand hygiene
• List the different types of hand hygiene and describe handwashing hygiene, handrubbing hygiene, and surgical hand hygiene
• Identify when to perform handwashing hygiene and when to perform handrubbing hygiene
• List the essential requirements and material needed for handwashing and handrubbing hygiene
• Perform sound hand washing and hand rubbing hygiene practices
